Complex Surgical Tooth Extraction
Wisdom Teeth / Bone Graft & Bone Augmentation / Anesthesia

Complex Surgical Extraction
Some teeth cannot be removed predictably with routine extraction methods due to impaction, root anatomy, fracture, or surrounding bone conditions.
Complex extraction techniques allow controlled removal while protecting adjacent teeth and soft tissue.
When replacement is planned, socket-preservation options may be discussed at the same visit.
How Surgical Extraction Is Performed
A small-access approach is used to visualize and mobilize the tooth safely. Tooth sectioning may be used to reduce bone removal.
If indicated, graft material and membrane may be placed to preserve ridge volume for future restoration.
Postoperative instructions are provided for pain control, swelling management, and wound protection.
Benefits
- Controlled removal of high-complexity teeth
- Minimizes trauma to adjacent structures
- Facilitates future restorative planning
- Can include same-visit socket preservation
- Clear recovery protocol with follow-up
